İnanın hanımefendinin kim oldugunu bilmiyorum, oyle cok da unlu biri oldugunu sanmıyorum. Ama onemli olan bu degil, onemli olan tek bir kiyafetle sezonun tum trendlerini yakalamıs olmasi. Pastel tonlarda tek omuz tulum ince bir kemerle kombinlenmis, bence cok ama cok sık olmus.
Tasarimin kime ait oldugunu henuz ogrenemedim, arastirmaya devam ediyorum. Bulur bulmaz sizlerle paylasirim :)

Yeşilcam Ödülleri

We do not have our own Oscar show in Turkey, but no matter thus we have Yesilcam Awards:) I wanted to share some red carpet photos which were taken yesterdat at Yesilcam Awards. Of course, there weren't any ostentatious and luxuries dresses on red carpet like the Academy Awards, but there were some dresses that took attention(Sinem Kobal's dress).
I think we should carry on with what we have at this moment, I wish we will have movie awards as qualified as the Oscars one day.

Türkiye'de Oscar torenimiz olmayabilir, ama olsun bizim de Yesilcam odullerimiz var:) Gectigimiz aksam duzenlenen Yesilcam Odul toreninden bazi kırmızı hali goruntulerini sizlerle paylasmak istedim. Elbetteki Akademi Odullerindeki gibi satafatlı ve ultra luks elbiseler yoktu kücük kırmızı halida, ancak aralarla bazi kıyafetler goz dolduruyordu (mesela Sinem Kobal'ın elbisesi). Simdilik bu kadarıyla idare etmek zorundayız, umarım bizim de bir gun Oscar tadında ve kalitesinde odul torenlerimiz olur. İste gecenin guzelleri:

By the way, here are my opinions about red carpet dresses:

It is seen that the colour chosen by many of the actresses was black, our stars don't give up using black in their dresses. Actresses chose black as their dress colour included Seray Sever, Sinem Kobal, Berguzar Korel and Ceyda Duvenci. I also agree that black is one of the best colors that can be chosen for red carpet, but I don't understand why our young stars do not prefer to use spring colors. I would like to see more purple, yellow and pink dresses. The dress which I liked most among the black ones was worn by Sinem Kobal. It isn't seen in the picture, but in her back, she had a huge decolleté. The dress I didn't like most was the one which Seray Sever had. I think someone should tell this woman that she looks so sleazy in that dress as soon as possible.

I liked the color of Hatice Aslan's dress but I believe the model of her dress was so childish for a woman at her age. But, I should congratulate her for following this season's fashion trends, one-shoulder dress.
Dolunay Soysert was looking ordinary inside her green dress. I couldn't realize any crucial details of her dress, it is such simple.
I think Irmak Unal was looking elegant inside her little white-beige dress. I liked the details on her chest, they made the dress look like a vintage one.
Melis Birkan is a beautiful girl, but I can't say the same for her dress. I believe a dress with frills and colorful details would suit her more. Moreover, the sewing of her dress was sloppy and it was also creased. In short words, I didn't like it.
I didn't like Yıldız Kültür's two-partitioned dress either. In fact, I liked the upper part, both its model and color, but the bottom was totally a wrong choice for a woman at that age(I believe she passed the ages to be a mermaid). Also, I really wonder whether the fabrics are not of high quality or our women do not know how to sit. Her skirt was creased, too.
Özgü Namal's dress' color is one of the popular colors of the season. I think her decolleté was a bit bombastic, she preferred to have a back, leg and chest decolleté at the same time which made the dress look banal. Although I didn't like her dress much, I think her new hair style is absolutely perfect.
Just like Özgü Namal, Burcu Kara also chose a blue dress. The dress was not something special, but I liked its shoulder part.
Absolutely, I loved Cansu Dere's orange long dress. Don't you also think that she is looking different from all other women around? She chose a perfect dress which has a little bit vintage and some bohemian effect for the ceremony.
As the last one, I didn't like the very bottom part consisted of frills of Ceyda Düvenci's dress. Also, her bolero made of her was so ordinary.

When I read my comments on dresses now, I see I didn't like most of them. I believe our red carpet stars should spend more time on choosing their dresses.

Bu arada kıyafetler hakkında yorumlarıma gelince:

Genele baktigimizda agırlıklı kullanılan rengin siyah oldugunu goruyoruz, anlasılan yıldızlarimiz siyahtan vazgecmiyorlar. Siyah rengi tercih edenler arasında Seray Sever, Sinem Kobal, Berguzar Korel ve de Ceyda Duvenci var. Ozel geceler icin siyahın cok uygun bir renk olduguna katiliyorum ancak genc aktrislerin neden baharin canli renklerine burunmediklerini merak ettim. Acıkcasi ben morlar, sarilar, pembeler gormek isterdim. Siyahlar arasinda en begendigim Sinem Kobal'ın derin sırt dekolteli elbisesi oldu. En begenmedigim ise kesinlikle Seray Sever'in bacak dekolteli uzun elbisesi. Bence biri ona ne kadar ucuz ve sıradan gorundugunu acilen soylemeli.

Hatice Aslan'ın kıyafetinin rengini cok begendim ama sanki drapeli elbisesi yasına biraz hafif kacmıs gibi. Gerci tek omuz modasini yakalamıs olmasini takdir ediyorum.
Dolunay Soysert zumrut yesili elbisesiyle sıradan bir sıklık sergiliyor. Elbisesinde can alıcı bir detay goremedim, fazla mı sade kacmıs ne?
Kırık beyaz kısa elbisesiyle sade ve sık olmus Irmak Ünal. Elbisenin ust kısmındaki islemeler vintage bir etki yaratmıs ve bence cok guzel gorunuyorlar.
Issız Adam'ın Ada'sı Melis Birkan'a gelince.. Bence kız cok guzel ama kıyafet icin aynı seyi soyleyemeyecegim. Sanki ona firfirli, daha canli, hareketli bir model cok daha iyi yakısırdı. Elbisenin ozensiz dikimi de gozumden kacmadi, bir de utusu de bozulunca hic de hos olmayan bir goruntu cıkmıs ortaya. Kısacasi begenmedim!!
Yine Issız Adam adlı filmde Alper'in annesini oynayan Yıldız Kültür'un 2 parcali kıyafeti pek hosuma gitmedi. Aslında ust kısmını ve de rengini begendim, ancak etek o yastaki biri icin bence yanlis bir secim(denizkızı olma yasını coktan gecmistir diye dusunuyorum). Ayrıca kumaslar mı cok kalitesiz, yoksa yıldızlarımız oturmayı mı bilmiyorlar. Yıldız Hanım'ın da kıyafetinin etekleri cok burusmus, kotu olmus.
Özgü Namal'ın da elbisesinin rengi bu sezonun flas renklerinden. Dekoltesini biraz abartili buldum, aynı anda hem gogus, hem sırt, hem de bacak dekoltesi icermesi elbiseyi ucuzlatmıs. Elbisesini begenmesem de bence yeni saclari muhtesem olmus, cok yakısmıs.
Burcu Kara da Ozgu Namal gibi mavi tonlarinda bir elbise secmis. Cok ozel bir elbise olmamakla birlikte, omuz modeli hosuma gitti.
Bir suru minik pencere iceren Berguzar Korel'in kıyafeti de bence cok dogru bir secim degil. Sac modeli de onu oldugundan yasli gostermis.
Cansu Dere'nin uzun turuncu elbisesini cok begendim, hatta bayıldım. Sizce de etraftaki diger kadınlardan farklı gozukmuyor mu? Azcik bohem, azcik vintage tarzini cok iyi yansıtan bir elbise secmis ödül toreni icin. Sanırım benim favorim bu:)
Son olarak Ceyda Düvenci'nin elbisesinin etek uclarindaki firfirlari begenmedim, ayrıca kurk bolerosu da cok sıradan.

Simdi yazdıklarimi okuyunca anladım ki elbiselerin cogunu begenmemisim. Bence bizim kırmızı hali yıldızlarimiz giyecekleri elbiseleri secerken daha fazla efor sarfetmeliler.

And the "Best Red Carpet Dress" Oscar Goes to...

What a shame of me not to watch any of the Oscar ceremonies from beginning to the end until this year. Last night I had a really good night with full of enjoy. Of course the ceremony itself was impressing, but now let me concentrate on the "Red Carpet" since it is more more interesting:)
Before representing my winners of the night, let's have a look at all beautiful ladies on the red carpet.

While I was watching the show, I saw Miley Cryus was the first one that came to Kodak Theatre, which meaned she was ready for the critics. She was wearing a long, shining dress with fluffy skirt designed by Zuhair Murad. In fact I found her dress interesting, the glitters in her dress made her dress fantastic. She was like a little mermaid.

Natalie Portman was absolutely gorgeous in her Rodarte, but I think she needs to put on some weight. In her straples dress, her shoulders and breasts were looking like they belong to a child. But, the lilac dress she chose, her hair, her make-up, everything was fine.

It is a classic that we see Nicole Kidman in a smart dress every time. Nothing more to say about her, she was looking really nice in L'Wren Scott's design. Only one point, I didn't like the bottom part of her dress, small plume like accessories was useless.

Doesn't Alicia Keys' dress looks like similar to Natalie Portman's? Just like Natalie, Alicia also chose a colorful dress which was really harmonious with her skin color. However, her look was a standard one, which we are used to see in several ceremonies. I cannot say that she became the star of the red carpet in her Armani Privé dress.

Due to my observations, Amy Adams was very self-confident while she was walking through the red carpet. In her red dress by Carolina Herrera was smart and attentive. I didn't like the black lines on her breast, they didn't fit with her fabulous necklace. By the way, I must say that her necklace was amazing although I believe she shouldn't have used it with this dress.

Anne Hathaway was looking emaciated inside her Armani Privé, but this couldn't prevent her looking smart and delicate.

For me, Beyonce Knowles was wearing one of the worst dresses of the night. Although she has a beautiful sand glass like body, she was looking heavier than she really was inside that dress. I think the designer of House of Deréon wanted her to look like a mermaid, but both the design and the pattern of the dress was totally wrong!!!

Evan Rachel Wood was wearing a long, beige, chiffon dress by Elie Saab Haute Couture. She was really attentive and looking like a statue with her white, fresh skin and red hair. But she was acting high and mighty while she was on the red carpet and posing.

Although the film which she was starring "Slumdog Millionaire" won the Oscars in 8 branches, Freida Pinto couldn't win my "Best Red Carpet Dress Oscar"..:)) She was looking very Indian in her dress by John Galliano. The dress was a including of oriental details proving she was coming from Asia.

Have you seen another woman looking as much dignified as Halle Berry in this beautiful Marchesa dress? I guess your answer should be NO!! She was great as she always is. Her dress was far away from exaggeration, but it was showing its quality. (Please, take a look at Beyonce's dress, you will get the idea!!)

Heidi Klum never changes her choice in Oscar shows. Just like the previous year, we saw her showing herself on the red carpet with her red dress. Actually, I didn't like the design of her dress which was created by Roland Mouret. The asymmetric cut made the dress banal and cheap. I wish she could have wore a similar dress to the one she wore last year..:S

We already knew that Jennifer Aniston knows how to wear, what to wear, when and where. Her choice from Valentino Couture was absolutely the right one for Red Carpet and the Oscar Ceremony. Everyone was dazzled with her fresh, young and fit look. Love you Jenny!!!

Jessica Biel's dress was one of the designs that I didn't like this year. She was looking gift-wrapped in her beige Prada dress.

Our sweet Rose of Titanic, Kate Winslet won the Oscar at last. I wish she had also won my "Best Red Carpet Dress" Oscar, but neverteless she couldn't. In fact, I liked the design and the color of her dress, but I believe there was something wrong with that dress. Maybe if a woman taller than Kate might have wore that dress, it would be better.

Morien Cotillard, in Christian Dior Haute Couture, was looking really great. I liked the bottom of her dress, the combination of mini skirt and the long black tulles is perfect.

When we look at the picture above, we see the trend of this year's Academy Awards is "Mermaid Look". Marisa Tompei in her Versace dress is an example of mermaid look. I can't explicitly explain why but I think something is wrong with this dress. The amount of fabric used in this dress is too much, it has a long tail makes me think that she will fall down in any minute.

Just like Marisa Tompei's dress, Melissa George's mermaid dress by Dolce&Gabbana couldn't satisfy me. The tail is looking ridiculus, and Melissa's breast is too small for that strapless top.

I think the color choice of Melissa Leo is totally wrong. The copper tone of her dress by Badgley Mischka s so close to her hair color which made her look older than she is.

On the other hand, please look old beautiful lady, Merly Streep. Isn't she look fantastic in her mink colored Alberta Ferretti dress? She definetely shows us what a real lady wears. Her shoulders are looking good although she is getting older. I really liked her dress, perfekto!!!

Queen Latifah's dress by Georges Chakra should absolutely be wore by someone thinner. The design of the dress is good but again I belive Dear Queen should try something different next time.

Wow, wow, wow... Here is the style, here is the perfect match, here is the woman!!! Who am I talking about? Do we have any other candidate stronger than Sarah Jessica Parker? Yes, girls. The powerful woman of the city is looking gorgeous again. She is beautiful, cute, sexy and a modern representation of a princess. I loved her dress by Christian Dior Haute Couture.

I really admire Sophia Loren, she looks fantastic in her Armani dress and I believe noone can wear this dress better than her in that age.

Now, it is time for giving my Oscar..:)

As Penelope Cruz won the Oscar, she won my "Best Red Carpet Dress" Oscar. She looks perfect in that vintage Balmain dress, like a "Princess". Good job Penelope, congratulations..:)))

But no,no,noooo I am not done yet. Like the Academy also gives a best supporting actress award, I also have the "Best Supporting Red Carpet Dress" Oscar and it goes to:
